First time eating here and will definitely be back! We sat on the patio which is quaint and gives a European feel. We arrived during their happy hour and were impressed with all of the options! The drinks especially the spritz was super tasty! The French onion soup was delicious 10/10 as was the steak frites (super crispy and flavorful)! The beef was perfectly tender and full of flavor. Staff was kind and friendly but not over the top attentive, which I appreciate!

Amazing food, service, and experience. Alexa was the best server we've ever encountered and she made my mother's 80th birthday more special than we ever thought it could be. The trout almondine was amazing as well as the mussels and chocolate mousse. Fantastic evening! We will definitely be back soon.

As close as you can get to a French Brasserie in St. Louis. While the menu leans toward meat, there are excellent seafood options. Excellent service, very unobtrusive but always there for your needs. The cassoulet was a great take on an Alpine classic. My son reports the flavors of the sausage and duck confit blended perfectly. The trout almandine was a large filet cooked to just the right firmness and seasoned exactly as it should be. The green beans were plentiful and quite welcome. The risotto was very good but a bit more restraint with the salt would have made a good dish a great one. The appetizers are also excellent. The pommes frite(French Fries) were so tasty, I suspect they were fried in duck fat! Totally addictive. Escargot were cooked to just the right texture and the garlic sauce was both classic and addictive, requiring all the bread we could muster! The marinated olives were quite plentiful and were a welcomed palate cleanser between dishes. All-in-all, a great take on a classic French Brasserie.

One of the best gluten free restaurant meals I’ve had. Item aren’t marked as gluten free on the menu but the waiter was knowledgeable. I got the beef and my wife got the trout, both of which are gluten free. Absolutely delicious! They even included tasty gluten free toast. We got dessert as well. The chocolate mousse is gluten free if you get it without the topping. My wife’s pumpkin pot de crème was gluten free as well. Side note: The waiter said that the fries “have a little bit of gluten” so I assume they’re just not in a dedicated fryer. Something to keep in mind if you get the burger, for which a gluten free bun is available.

We visited on a rainy and cold Saturday night for our son's birthday. The place was lively, busy, and perfectly French brasserie in look and feel. After ordering a bottle of wine, we were started off with the house bread, a long roll, twisted into smaller ones, served directly on the brown butcher paper covering our table. Each of us were given our own little ramekin of butter. As an appetizer, one of us enjoyed their French onion soup, and the rest of the table sampled the escargot, which were swimming in a decadent butter sauce. For dinner, my husband tried the braised beef because of the tantalizing reviews he'd seen and was not disappointed. Generous chunk of beefs in a rich sauce, surrounded by luscious carrots and potato puree. My son opted for the Bistro Steak, which came out exactly as he'd ordered it with crispy steak fritters. I ordered the duck confit which was amazing! The skin was wonderfully crips and salty and the duck meat was tender and flavorful. We ordered a couple of desserts - the profiteroles (four small ones that came with miniature gravy boat of chocolate sauce for pouring-over) and the chocolate mouse. And they threw in their floating island dessert, topped with a birthday candle for my son! I can't say enough about the caring and warm service. The request we made with our reservation for a corner table at the back was granted because one of our party has some hearing issues. The location made it so much easier to talk with one other in the bustling, high-energy space. When our entrees were delayed, the manager made sure to come over to see what else she could provide as we waited and our waitress expedited our order. Even though it looked like the place was at capacity and there were other establishments nearby, we found a good amount of pay-to-park (Park Mobile) street parking, just two-minute walk further up the street. I highly recommend Brasserie and plan to visit again when we're back in St. Louis!

This was our first visit. It was recommended by a friend. We loved it! The food was outstanding. Our server was the perfect combination that a server should be. He was always there before we needed something, he knew answers to our questions and he was nice. We ordered a burger and fries, and the pot roast. Both were outstanding. The drinks were special too. We sat inside since we had never been there and wanted to experience it. Patio dining looked like it would have been nice also, depending on the weather.

If you do nothing else in St. Louis other than come to this restaurant, it’ll be worth the trip. It is in my top 3 meals of all time. We had the duck, the chicken, and the braised beef. All phenomenal. The French fries with the garlic aioli; outstanding! And to top it all off we had a peanut butter and jelly crème brûlée that made me want to lick the dish. Our waiter Taiya was so sweet and accommodating to our few changes we needed! She made our dinner fun and enjoyable and we loved talking to her. We will be back Saturday before we leave. Zero notes in terms of what needs to be changed. Incredible.
